Researching on improving the ductility of nanostructured aluminum alloys while maintaining high strength.

Tip shop operator: Preparing ceramic tips, head boxes, tap-out boxes, metering rods and floats.

Caster operator: Monitoring the casting process by controlling caster panels.

Furnace Operator: Degassing and alloying molten metal..

Projects:

"Failure Analysis of a Bicycle Seatpost." SEM, EDS and Vickers test were used to conclude that seatpost failed in fatigue mode.

"Characterization of Ti-22Al-21Nb at% Alloy." Different phases were identified using SEM and EDS and it was concluded that while the alloy has creep resistance, it has limited low temperature applications.

"Case study on the operations of small scale foundries in Ghana." This was a senior year undergraduate project.
