Summary

• About ** years of experience in the IT industry and about 8 years of experience on IBM i-Series (AS/400) system.

• Presently working as TRACK LEAD of AS/400 Team in HCL for a complete Infrastructure Support project.

• Undertaken transition of i-series support for 4 new customers (Dixons, Acxiom, TOYS’R’US and CBI) of HCL. I was the main resource for these transitions. All Transition done in different locations of UK and USA. I have spent about 10 months at on-site.

• Worked with HMC i525, i520, i570, i550, 620, 270, 810, s30 Models and working with Power 6 and O/S I5, model i550 and i570 (with version V5R4M5) in CBI.

• Responsible for maintaining, tuning of the server and provide report to management as per our Service Level Agreement.

• Good awareness about HMC, i-Series Navigator, Remote console, Robot Scheduler and JDE.

• Responsible for providing SOX Audit report to CBI management.

• Worked with migration team to migrate the AS/400 server (570 model with V5R4-earlier it was V5R3).

• Independently migrated the server.

• Co-ordinate with 3rd party vendor and /or onsite resources for Tape Library Management.

• Server /Backup /Restoration and troubleshooting.

• Responsible to install License if required.

• Handling Domino Server as Data Mirror Administration.JDE One world.

• Taking care of Jobs of BRMS, FAX400, and ROBOT Scheduler.

• Design Menu as per requirement for Users, Operators.

• Awareness about MIMIX and Journaling.

• Can create a customize menu for the user with the help of Screen designing.
