I have been hired to give presentations and workshops a few times per year at various corporations throughout the Chicago area by the company HealthString. I was the opening presenter at the Wrigley Corporation for their annual “DeStress Day.” I presented information on stress management, holistic health, effective goal setting, and the seven self care areas from The Wheel of Health. Intensive Yoga Classes, Retreats and Workshops with master yoga instructors. Training and experience includes meditation, breathing techniques, stress management, anatomy, alignment and yoga for healing. Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Course, Seeds of Mindfulness, Judith Lies, LMFT, St Paul, MN, October--November, 2012 (27 hours of class time).
The course follows the model developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn in his book Full Catastrophe Living, featured in Bill Moyer's Emmy-winning PBS special, "Healing and the Mind." The course teaches people how to integrate Eastern practices into contemporary Western everyday life through learning how to practice mindfulness meditation, breath-work and visualization.
Integrative Nutrition Class with Maggie Christopher, Holistic Health Counselor, St Paul, MN, September-- November, 2012.
