Resume:

February **, ****

To Whom it may concern,

I am interested in applying for an Orthotics and/or Prosthetics program opportunity with your company. This opportunity would comply with my desire to find a solid and reputable organization to conclude my studies and improve my career in the O&P field.

Going to school in the O&P field, I attended several seminars, completed internship and have worked various volunteer jobs. These opportunities were accomplished at different facilities and locations throughout the Tampa Bay and Orlando areas. During the past eight months I have been working on completing my prosthetic residency hours with South Beach Orthotics & Prosthetics.

I have been fortunate enough to have received my formative education in Brazil and then continued my studies at St. Petersburg College. This cross-cultural experience has proven to be invaluable to me, and has enabled me to see both cultures from a unique perspective. This broad-based education has afforded me the opportunity to reexamine many of my own personal values and pursue goals that otherwise would not have been possible. The initial struggle to adapt, learning of a totally new language and desire to help people has transformed me into a better person. I have developed an enormous dedication and a high aspiration of achieving a successful and promising career. Boundaries that may limit the vast majority of people, are for me just bumps in the road to the ultimate goal of a better future.

The qualifications above, and those included on my resume, make me highly qualified for this position. I am very interested in speaking with you further about this opportunity. I can be reached at 561-***-****. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely yours,

Sheila Messias
