Personal Communication Center (PCC) Feb 2010 – Current

PCC is a master distributor for T-Mobile, selling T-Mobile / Voice Stream / Omni Point products and services on the east coast via the retail channel, for more than 15 years. After winning numerous awards and running a successful site selling T-Mobile: The site was eventually sold for 20 Million US Dollars. PCC run and operate their owned stores on the east coast from New York to Florida and has 500 plus nationwide Sub-dealers.

Online Portal

There were only 3 online portals authorized for selling T-mobile and none of them were exclusive with any carrier. PCC wanted to create a new Exclusive online portal that offers T-Mobile deals. This site would allow PCC to generate substantial revenue from nationwide sales.

Frontend and Backend: Have already operated a successful site in the past, PCC was determined to launch a new site with maximum type of product & services, better functionalities and great user experience. First part of the project was to create a New Site that allows users to place an order for New Activations, Upgrades, and Phones with contracts, Phones on Prepaid and accessories. Second part of the project was to create a backend application OPS (Order Processing System), that will manage customer order from credit check to shipping. Backend was also created to manage the inventory. Internal users effortlessly were able to interlink phones, plans, optional features and accessories. For efficiency, automated processes were added and OPS were integrated with T-Mobile for credit check, activation, etc processes.

Responsibilities:

• Created storyboards and conducted brainstorming sessions to understand needs and requirements of different T-Mobile plans and offers for online exclusive store.

• Documented the business process through Business Requirement Document and Functional Requirement Specification document.

• Knowledge of Order Management System (Front end, backend, warehouse, order fulfillment, payment related and shipping).
