Professional Synopsis

Server & mail Management

Remote management through Remote desktop connection.

Security Patch & Anti-virus Management

To check and update the latest anti-virus definition file on server and all the desktops.

To update all the security patches in all the running desktops.

Installation, configuration & maintenance of Symantec and McAfee 4.5 Anti-virus server & client 10.1 corporate edition.

Desktop Management

To attend and resolve all the desktop calls as per SLA.

Incase of any hardware failure need to log the call with vendor and follow-up till closer. If require then need to escalate the same to as per the escalation matrix.

Managing, installation and configuration part of all standard software as per the company policy

Application Management

Managing and administering the win2k/2k3 application server.

First level troubleshooting of application related issues at client side.

Giving technical support to users for ERP software Syspro.

Network Management

Monitoring and troubleshooting of LAN.

Monitoring and troubleshooting the WAN issues.

Backup Management

Maintaining VERITAS backup accuracy & restoration drills as per the company policy.

Ensure backup storage and handling of media to prevent data loss.

Perform restoration drill to check the accuracy of the backup and maintain backup logs.

Vendor Management

Maintain database of third party vendor providing IT related services.

Monitoring and enforcing AMC/WRT support terms.

Call logging with vendor and maintaining escalation matrix.

Notifying defaulting vendors.

Asset Management

Maintaining hardware asset inventory database as per the organisation requirement like configuration details, serial number, asset code, WRT/AMC details etc.

Maintain all IMAC (Install, Move, Add, and Change) records.

Quarterly physical verification of asset inventory.

Helpdesk services

Assigning and maintaining severity level.

Tracking the calls to till closure.

Maintaining the escalation of calls.

Feedback to callers.

Reports

Prepare DCFC (Daily control Function Checklist) on daily basis.

Prepare reports of monthly asset count and detail asset inventory (MIS Report).

Monthly IMAC calls detail.

Daily backup checklist and report of restoration drills.
