General Qualifications

I have worked in the construction industry for 36 years. Throughout my career, I have held positions as estimator, project manager and project controls manager. I have successfully participated in key engineering, estimating and project management roles on projects up to $2.7 billion in contract value on wind & solar alternative energy projects, water and wastewater, marine deep foundations, pulp & paper, automotive powertrain foundry, Portland cement, oil & gas and a major lift bridge.

In addition to estimating and project management, I am licensed as a professional engineer (PE) and my record is verified and maintained by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying. I am also certified as a Cost Engineer by the American Association of Cost Engineers and have an extensive background in computerized estimating and in establishing computerized job cost accounting and control systems. In September 1991 I became the second Certified Estimating Consultant by Timberline Software in Beaverton, OR. I have been working with WinEst over the past year as part of a global Fluor estimating software evaluation and since joining RMT Inc. in Madison, Wisconsin.
