PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Janitor Open Arms International Chicago , Illinois

As a janitor to the Founder, President, and CEO of Open Arms International; a not-for-profit foundation dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals stricken by homelessness, poverty, joblessness, incarceration, and providing support to troubled youth. My responsibilities are many, I provide day to day management of the office, computer support; using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with any computer hardware repairs that are needed. My duties also include running business errands to various civic organizations, and updating any needed files and documentation as required by the CEO. In providing support to the CEO I maintain his personal affairs, which consist of personal maintenance, scheduling, and meeting daily in house requirements. The travel duties are also covered within my scope.

As a temporary Cashier during the winter break, I worked stocking shelves, rotating products, performing facing of the store and providing typical Cashier duties such as money handling and ringing customer purchases.

As a employee of Sabrina’s restaurant under the guidance of the founder and owners Mr and Mrs. Gaston. I learned the value of hard-work, responsibility, and Integrity. My duties included cooking various entrees and desserts such as; sweet potatoes, cornbread dressings, and peach cobbler. I helped in the maintenance of the establishment including cleaning and upkeep. As a cashier I was responsible for accurately charging customers according to weight. It was also my duty to greet customers and make them feel at home.
