I am analytic minded and performance focussed individual with strong belief in growing through continues learning. During my career I have been involved in analysis and development work particularly in Oracle Enterprise Taxation Management System (ETM) and Java. I have also attended training and worked in projects involving SAP XI/PI. Since August 2010, I am working as an Analyst Programmer for New Zealand Government at the Department of Inland Revenue.

1) Organization: Inland Revenue (New Zealand Govt.), Wellington.

Date: August 2010 till present

Position: Analyst Programmer

Role Overview: Since October 9, 2011, I am working in IR Portal development team with technologies including Java Spring (Servelts and Portlets), Apache Jetspeed , IBM Websphere etc. Earlier I was working as a part of 12 members’ team at Inland Revenue’s “Student Loans Redesign” project. My responsibilities included developing “Internal Design” technical specifications and implementing those design specs using Oracle ETM to fulfil the requirements provided by “External Design” specs. I was also involved in attending the walk-throughs during the development process of “External Design” and “Analysis” documents and providing feedback to designers and analysts as well as peer-reviewing the “Internal Design” documents developed by other team members.

Recently I was involved in an Agile project involving people form Inland Revenue, Oracle and Solnet. The goal of the project was to develop a Goods and Services Tax (GST) system prototype using Oracle ETM and introduce Agile methodology to Inland Revenue. After successful completion of the project, I was selected to give presentation about project’s achievements to Senior Management Team including Commissioner of Inland Revenue.
