Duties & Responsibilities:

• Performing, Testing and commissioning of hydraulic valves with the coordination of Boardman on DCS console to obtained and confirmed of those I/O signals.

• Pre-commissioning, Testing and commissioning of Ballast pumps to the client as per Engineer/Supervisor’s schedule

• Performing of various maintenance activities on instrumentation and control system.

• Modification, implementation, testing and commissioning on Power Management System using PLC particular in the confirmation of those I/O signals.

• Involves in troubleshooting of process field instrumentation and automation faults, logic interlocks (intermediate & ESD system)

• Corrective & Preventive Maintenance of instrument at all Power Plant units/areas.

• Work on different units for trouble shooting of instruments faults/problem to process dept.

• Overhauling & calibration of transmitter ( flow, pressure , level , temperature )

• Pre-commissioning, Testing and Commissioning, Pre and Start-up and operation and maintenance on the systems and modules such as: Fire & Gas, Safety Instrumented System (SIS), Emergency Shutdown (ESD), Process Shutdown (PSD), Process Control System (PCS)

• Pre-commissioning, Testing and commissioning of HPU (hydraulic power unit)

• Perform of signal simulation and functional loop testing of field instruments with the coordination of Boardman on DCS console to obtained and confirmed of those I/O signals.

• Involves on the teams for plant shutdown, restoration, testing and commissioning and start-up.

• Preparation of drawings, ITR’s and as-built.

• Performing of control loop checking, calibration, recalibration, troubleshooting, verification, rectification, modification and simulation of various instrumentation and control instruments.

• Testing of fire alarm, smoke detector and heat protector

• Perform all the job, as advised by Supervisor and gave daily production reports.

• Perform loop checking and loop setting of Valve Air Ventilation(VAV) to the client as per Engineer/Supervisor’s schedule

• Loop checking/ loop testing/ functional and matrix testing of Air Handling Unit AHU) instruments such as pressure/temperature/flow transmitters/ switches.

• Responsibilities & Duties:

• Perform loop checking and loop setting to the client as per Engineer/Supervisor’s schedule.

• Perform wire checking of field instrument to junction box up to Control Room.

• Termination of instrument cables, transmitters, junction box cross connection on marshalling panels.

• Field instrument installation based on instrument location plan and Piping instrument diagram (P & ID).

• Perform wire checking of field instrument to junction box up to Control Room.

• Monitoring of all installed instruments in air compressor 1 &2 due to functional and matrix testing according to the command of engineering team in control room specially the condition of the turbine.

• Servicing and Calibrating of control valves.

• Bench Setting of actuators

• De Coupling of valves and calibration of possitioner.

• Servicing of SOVs, Boosters, Filters, Regulators and other accessories in control valves

• Perform loop checking and loop setting to the client as per Engineer/Supervisor’s schedule.

• Perform wire checking of field instrument to junction box up to Control Room.

• Termination of instrument cables, transmitters, junction box cross connection on marshalling panels.

• Validation/Calibration of process instruments, especially smart family transmitter, Foxboro, allen Bradley, honey well, Rosemount Transmitter like pressure temperature switches and gauges,masoneillan control valves.

• Calibration and stroking of control valves such as globe valve,masoneilan and fisher.

• Perform all the job, as advised by Supervisor and gave daily production reports.

• Field instrument installation based on instrument location plan and Piping instrument diagram (P & ID).

• Termination and installation of level switch on truck loading area. (granules)

• Termination and installation of vibration probe in gas compressor(first to sixth stage).

• Rendered services in the Maintenance and Process Units to perform Validation and Calibration of Instrumentation system Such as Transmitters and Control Valves installed in CDU, OCR and Plat former Unit.

• Loop checking of instrument controller, such as Honeywell, smart transmitter and control valves stroking and functional testing.

• Wire checking and continuity checking from instrument junction box to control panel.

• On site validation/ calibration PT, FT, LT and TT.
