The project role was to act as SME on Peoplesoft nVision, Peoplesoft Trees and as representative for PeopleSoft team with OBIEEE and Interface teams.

Senior Financial Systems Analyst

Managed day to day support and system enhancements for GL, AM, AP and Projects modules, version 8.4. Conducted customer interviews, develop requirements, create test plans and coordinate testing for system enhancement and development. Implemented system configuration, created user documentation and conducted end-user training.

Implemented multi-currency functionality to enhance efficiency and gain more robust reporting. This was being done by large Excel spreadsheets and took much longer to complete.

Configured Mass change templates and definitions which allowed thousands of assets to be transferred.

Developed custom upload using EDI to load AP vouchers directly into system which allowed large GL distribution vouchers to be entered faster as voucher upload was not available in version 8.4.

Developed training material and conducted training sessions to raise overall knowledge of nVision. Developed nVision reports for multi-currency reporting that were being created manually. Created query and crystal reports used in an initiative for better Cash flow reporting.

Client - National/Alamo Car Rental, Functional Consultant - Prepared system configuration and user documentation and conduct end-user training as part of external PeopleSoft upgrade team for Rental Car Company. The emphasis of work was on General Ledger functionality. Developed and configured complex combo edits rules and groups. The company had never used them before.

Peoplesoft Lead Analyst

Performed as Lead in upgrade from 8.4 to 8.9. Participated in all aspects of the systems life cycle; fit/gap analysis, assessment, prototyping, extracting, converting, loading, reporting, configuring and managing the flow of data for GL and AM.

Participated as General Ledger analyst for Hilton working with an outside consulting firm in the implementation of Hilton UK and Ireland properties on to the Peoplesoft platform (version 8.9) from Oracle Financials. Provided insight and oversight to the consulting team on Hilton configuration and assisted in the creation of deliverables for the project.

Provided second level support for escalation of ongoing Peoplesoft Production issues - General Ledger, Asset Management and any reporting on version 8.4, custom or delivered. Implemented unused functionality as changes in Business required. Partnered with outside consultant on implementation of Peoplesoft for two properties in Mexico as GL analyst; this included multi-currency, VAT, multi-language and reporting.

Performed as Senior in upgrade from 7.5 to 8.4 for General Ledger. Participated in all aspects of the systems life cycle; fit/gap analysis, assessment, prototyping, extracting, converting, loading, reporting, configuring and managing the flow of data for GL and AM.

Performed on Project team as General Ledger Senior on project team that completed conversion of over 400 locations (units) to Peoplesoft Financials 7.5 after a merger. This role included involvement with COA design, mapping/conversion of data and new configuration. Integral asset to acquired company converting to Peoplesoft in training of all aspects of the system as well as creating custom reports using nVision and Query. Created a significant number of the Financial Statement reports used after implementation.

Assistant Controller

Managed overall maintenance of the General Ledger for small number of Hotels in a centralized Service structure. The role involved supervision two Staff Accountants in the monthly close process, including preparation and approval of all journal entries and interfacing with the executive teams of hotels on operating results and other general finance issues.
