Reduced the Commercial tendering duration by 20%.In SAIPEM, the Estimator is the only one that receive's the Commercial ITT (Invitation

to tender); he extracts all the information that will be needed by the Legal, Engineering, Procurement, Shipping, Fabrication and other

departments.This practice delays the tender submission date and puts the estimator under stress. After presentation of the observed

situation to Management, a policy was made that all the department heads should provide information to the estimator during the

commercial tendering process.This approach worked positively because it reduced the commercial estimating duration.

Increased the gross margin of the Company by 25% with a team of 3 junior estimators in the NOPL project by extracting variation quantities

and manpower for the Above ground installations.

Observed that the type of contracts administered to subcontractors are mainly on a cost plus basis; management was made to understand

that the type of contract that will be beneficial in terms of profit making is fixed lump sum contract to subcontractors. This action increased
