Title : “LEVEL OF SERVICE (LOS) FOR PEDESTRIAN ALONG THE SIDE WALKWAYS AND AT UNCONTROLLED INTERSECTION”

Description:

The aim of this present study is to determine the level of service (LOS) of the pedestrian walkway at intersection and along the sidewalks in order to assess the operational conditions of the vehicular flow condition with consideration of the infrastructure.

To determine the peak hour volume of pedestrian and the factors affecting pedestrian level of service with respect to vehicular flow.

To determine the pedestrian level of service with respect to pedestrian speeds along the side walk.

To study the pedestrian densities along the side walk and formulated the level of service based on the densities analysis.

To study the pedestrian delays at intersection and formulated the level of service based on the pedestrian delays analysis.

To study the final level of service with combined of obstructions, speeds, delays and densities.
