Jan. 2011-present: Technical Office and Execution Engineer as an Electrical Project Engineer. Duties included monitoring and controlling the project.

• Project work details: Electrical work as a Sub. Contractor for EFSA ( Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority) two buildings, and Stock Market building in SMART VILLAGE.

• Work Scope: Installation of electrical systems, which included: Conduit system for lighting, Small Power, Fire Alarms, Sound System, Low Current [Access Control, Integrated Security System, Parking Management System, MATV System, Queueing System, CCTV, Data, BMS and PA (Public Address System)], Intelligent Lighting system, structuring cabling system (Trays and Risers) Install & extend cables to main DB, ATS, emergency, UPS, GENERATOR going to Transformers, switch gears and to RMU (Ring Main Unit).

• My duties:

o Establishing and designing INTELLEGANT LIGHTING SYSTEM NETWORK by Visualization Software using (AUTOCAD) and distributing its components.

o Read approved drawings and follow it to execute the work in same dimension, component and paths. Report changes needed as built.

o Verify and Control Scope, through receipt and follow up site electrical works of all Work Scope, and prepare “Requests For Inspection” to Main contractor (Hassan Allam) and consultant (ECG).

o I developed Inventory System for Site works, using excel program, to monitor work progress, inventory, and quantity of work done to save time and to be more efficient.

o Prepare Statement Summary using easily updated Inventory and knowledge of work price range.

o I developed performance reports using charts to monitor quantity and work performance.

o Prepare Submittal Request and forward it to Consultant and follow up its approval.

o Prepare requests for approval of Finished Shop Drawings.

o Check Shop Drawings, and follow up its approval to begin execution.

o Develop a status to site work and daily report.

o Revision of change request, evaluation of project’s changed conditions.

o Coordinate with main contractor (Hassan Allam) regarding other mechanical and civil work, and delivering requests replies.

o Make Bill of Quantity (BOQ) for work material needed such as trays and cable.

o Execute and Supervise site work and deliver it. Follow up on received and distributed storage material to ensure excellent labors’ performance.

o I began to apply PMP Methodology, presently pursuing, to the project.

Energya cables Company (Elsewedy Helal) :

July, 2010 – Jan., 2011 : Technical Designer Engineer for PROJECTS in Energya Power Cables factory.

• Duties included:

o Design and specify cables using international standards such as IEC, BS, DIN, NEMA to establish technical data sheet (TDS) for Power Cable Production (LV & MV & OHTL), under Any voltage grade & Technical offers to customers or companies (local or exports).

o Control CR (Contact Review) and relate to customers in technical conditions.

o Follow up production department general information regarding machine lines to know its options, Cable Manufacturing stages and determine tools needed in my work and change factors in design equation.

Sept., 2009 – July 2010. Sales Account Manager.

• Duties included:

o Sell special and power cables to large companies such as ABB, Siemens and some petroleum company as well as contracting companies.

o Handle retail and stock sales.

o Receive “Invitation for Bid”, and preparing Offer Proposal then attending Bid “Tender” for Egyptian Electrical Companies and multi cables installation projects.

o Prepare a cover letter summary of contract for the Bid Offer which includes cost with margin, delivery date, guarantees, cost adjustment for copper and aluminum, and reason. Clarify payment and delivery place.

o Ensure technical offer/”Guarantee Table” meets customer requirements/specs.

o Develop procurements and documentation of all “Tender” data base as a price revision and enter it as a data base using excel and access sheet.

o Coordinate between factory and client regarding specs. and delivery date.

o Attend cable tests with some customers and follow delivery approval.

o Solve electrical companies clients’ problems.

o Adjust copper and aluminum prices as it changes in (London Metal Exchange).

o Forward to factory Sales Orders to start manufacturing order.

Training courses in Energya, other intermittent projects participation and volunteer work :

• Assisted Project Engineer Planner and Project Control Engineer in cable installation for Metro Cable Installation Project 220kv.

• Assisted in making WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) in project and resource RBS (Resource Breakdown Structure).

• Assisted Quality Assurance Team, in Giza Sewedy Factory, to establish procedures and communicate with all department regarding purchasing, manufacturing, finance … etc. in order to conduct audit, which was without procedures in ISO project.

• Oversaw the implementation of a cables installation 220 kv of a metro project (3-phase -2 circuits) & joints and termination in GIS station preparation and installation.

• Helped project department in closing tenders by drawing its executive designing drawings by AutoCAD.

• Completed training in Safety and Occupational Health (industrial security).

• Completed training in production led maintenance (PLM), in Schneider as training from lean manufacturing.

• Applied lean manufacturing in Giza Elsewedy Cables factory while my training in technical office.
