Facilitated advance Engineering changes into Rastar Corporate system to avoid the stop of the assembly line and machine operation.

Verified data in the MFG/Pro system to confirmed inventory control.

Coordinated engineering packages to be distribute to checking team for assessment

Knowledge and familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, specifically ASME Y14.5

Record information as to the quality of the engineering drawings and notices reviewed. This information is currently recorded in a spreadsheet format provided by the corporate Drawing & Notice Quality Team.

Mentor ideas with the detailer for design improvement that shall be discussed with the engineers to meet regulation of Caterpillar Standards.

Examine CAD models (when applicable), drawings, and notices thoroughly for omitted or incomplete information, errors, and improper practices.

Make sure a follow up is complete by looking over the latest drawing retrieved from the Product Data Management (PDM) system to confirm final drawing is retrievable.

Research Caterpillar Standards to ensure that all drawings meet the expectations of all manufacture parts.

Verify the Team Center engineering process management system to confirm that the correct drawings are in the right process and uploaded properly into the HVC system.

Accomplish the require procedure to make sure the correct information is recorded in the three systems.

PLM Team Center 8 engineering processing management system is a storage center system that helps in the management of all the processes, applications, and information required to design, manufacture, and support a product through its life cycle.

High Velocity Desktop (HVC) a components application that is managed and supported by different application groups throughout the corporation.
