I am working in THAI SUMMIT NEEL AUTO ANXILLARIES PVT LTD. Hosur for past 3 months in R&D (Research and development). It is a joint venture of Thai summit And JBM groups. It is a MNC company located in Thailand. Thai summit is one of the leading manufactures of two wheeler frames fuel tanks mufflers and Three wheeler auto chassis.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ø Part assembly drafting drawings using catia.

Ø OEE improvements through machine automation

Ø Root cause analysis for achieve 100% OEE in all m/c

Ø Productivity improvements through plant layouts and material handling methods.

Ø Give training to operators and employees to increase TEI (Total employee involvement)

Ø TPM activities and document maintenances.

DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF BOARD CLEANER

Description: The main objective of my project is reducing the manual work and increasing the automation in board cleaning process. The main advantage is mass production gives the cheaper cost.

MAIN PROJECT:

MANUFACTURING PROCESS IMPROVEMENT BY RETROFITTING FNC ROLLING STATION IN HEATING ELEMENT LINE

Description: The main aim of my project is to reduce the down time and increasing the production rate with automation process in FNC rolling station by using pneumatic system.

INDUSTRIAL VISIT:

PONDICHERRY POWER PLANT CORPORATION KARAIKAL

Description: I spent one day to visit this power plant in which power is produced from natural gas. It is a combined power plant which is producing nearly 22MW power. And I happened to see that the overall plant is maintained by control system.

Description: The themes of the papers are to reduce the fuel cost reduce the NOx emission in the exhaust gas and compensate the shortage of fuels availability.
