1969-1973 Kimwood Corporation
Assemblyman mechanic, trained in welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems. Became a journeyman within two years.
Learned to read blueprints and hydraulic and electrical schematics
1973-1976 Teamster Local 595.
Ten and thirty Yard end dump, lowboy Truck Driver. Also a
warehouse parts man for caterpillar and truck parts on Alaskan
pipeline.

Went into business: Commercial logging and firewood.
Designed and built a automated firewood mill. During this time I worked for V.M.M.C. as a part time millwright and welder.

Was millwright on three projects: Pope and Talbot in Oakridge, Oregon; Summit Timber in Darington, Washington; Roseboro Lumber Company in Springfield, Oregon. On each of these jobs my duties consisted of : steel fabrication, installation of machinery, hydraulic and pneumatic systems installation and
building construction.
1981-1982 Mid Columbia Construction.
Hydraulic, steam, and pneumatic systems lead man/foreman on
complete sawmill for Pope and Talbot in Spearfish, South Dakota. Other duties included: machinery installation, metal fabrication and building construction.

Was millwright foreman on four projects: Roseboro Lumber Co.
in Springfield, Oregon; U and I Inc. Food Processing Plant in
Boardman, Oregon; Snow Mountain Pine Sawmill in Hines,
Oregon.

Was millwright foreman on Merillat Corporation, Particle Board
Plant in Rapid City, South Dakota. Responsible for boiler and press installation.
