Client : British Telecom, UK

Role : WebSphere Administrator

Organization : Capgemini

Description : This project deals with British Telecom internal user log maintenance. British telecom is one of the best telecom providers at UK and this application is a mainly dealt with the Assyst application user Information maintenance. Tool is intended to provide a consistent, on-line mechanism to define, track and report on multi-step process.

Responsibilities:

• Enforce rules and standards to maintain consistent environment in all the phases of application cycle.

• Involved in WebSphere Application Server environment setup includes IBM HTTP Server, Apache Web Server, IBM Directory Server on UNIX and Windows.

• Installed IHS Server on different nodes and configured them by generating the plug-in.

• Created, Configured & Administered Profiles, Node Agents, Nodes and Node Groups.

Description : This application is a part of Dulex Insurance which is dealing with E-Forms.E-Forms module is the user interface for the user to enter the application data into the system. The e-Forms mo dule is responsible for providing the following functionality. Requirement Manager Module generates requirements, order requirements and satisfies requirements for a case based on the application inform ation entered through e-Forms. Policy Manager ensures that the latest information of the application & policy is available to all modules of system by updating the same into the data base and retrieving it from there as and when require.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in WebSphere Installation, Configuration and Administration.

• Responsible for configuring and maintenance of WebSphere Application server.

• Involved in setting up a new QA environment by creating and managing the Nodes, Application Servers, and Clusters for Load Balancing and Fail Over.

• Deployed application ears on WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment in QA, Staging and Production environments on a daily basis and troubleshooted various configuration and application issues.

• Trouble shooting various problems in different stages of development, QA and production using logs files, JVM Count and JDBC Connections.

Description : It is an Insurance project provides the Insurance for the vehicles. In this, user will give the details of particular vehicle and personal information. With this information, System will prep are one Quote. If he is interested he should bind that quote, means he is agreed for that insurance premium. So we are following client Frame Work that is NW Framework. It includes Struts, Custom Tags, Springs, Hibernate.

Responsibilities:

• Configuring, installation, maintenance, upgrades, administration, troubleshooting of IBM WebSphere Application Server on Linux, windows.

• Installation of IBM Web sphere Application Server, IBM HTTP Server, and IBM DB2.

• Performed silent installation on Websphere Application Server.
