I have 18 years experience in the Civil Engineering/Surveying field, five years experience as a Project Surveyor & Project Manager, eight years cable and telecommunications experience, over 20 years of Autocad (2010 LT. 2009LDD & Map)experience.

WORK HISTORY

06/09 – Present Project Manager – Walkup Company

Contracted Project manager for Time Warner, Verizon and T-Mobile. Responsible for coordinating with contractors and local city and county agencies, the construction of fiber feed to existing cell sites. Field locate, design and as-built commercial and MTA sites for fiber connection. Field locate and layout for cell sites. Use AutoCAD 2010, Excel and word.

08/01 – 06/09 Project Surveyor, Project Manager - Hall and Foreman, Inc.

Prepare Condo Plans, ALTA surveys, parcel maps, tract maps, record of survey maps, construction staking plans, legal descriptions and exhibits. Survey research, GPS planning and processing and crew supervision. As-built condo projects during and after construction. Prepare site survey (LS1) map and 2C accuracy certification. Managed two mapping departments at two offices. Use AutoCAD 2009 LDD.

04/97 - 08/01 System Designer - Time Warner Communications

Setup GIS data base for system design maps. Design, engineer and construct hybrid coax and fiber cable. Field locate fiber routes and make ready. Field, design, construct and as-built commercial and school sites for fiber connection. Field locate and layout for HUB sites. Work with county to acquire use agreement of electronic CAD files of county cadastral maps. Use AutoCAD 14 and 2000i map, LoadData and Magic fiber-designing systems.

09/88 -04/97 CAD Manager, Asst. Survey and Mapping Supervisor - Jennings Engineering Co.

Mapping tract, parcel, ALTA/ASCM, architectural and record of survey maps. Participate in field investigations. Research sub-structure, title reports, easements and center line ties. Prepare estimates, job proposals and contracts. Aid Civil Engineers with grading, storm drain, street and traffic plans, etc. Use CivilCAD, Softdesk and AutoCAD 10, 12 and 13.

08/92 - 07/93 Sub-Structure Engineer - Cable Engineering Services

Sub-Structure research, permitting and fielding street improvements. Design layout of fiber optic cable for construction. Prepare construction drawings for permit approval. Served as sub-contractor for PacTel Cellular and L.A. Cellular.

12/86 - 09/88 Drafting Supervisor - Cable Engineering Services

Supervised the mapping of cable strand and design maps. Designing cable and cable powering systems, train new employees, field walkouts, pole strand footages and sub-counts.

Assisted in quality control of PC board, photo processing, color key layout, net list and photo processor maintenance.
