Blackstone Alternate Asset Management (BAAM) serves many of the worlds largest and most sophisticated institutional investors. These investors look to BAAM to protect their assets through both commingled and custom-tailored investment strategies designed to deliver compelling risk-adjusted returns and mitigate downside risk

Responsibilities:

• Developed and enhanced several interfaces between multiple systems designed specifically for fund of funds portfolio management system

• Customized a fund of funds portfolio management system bought by the company (HedgeSphere) including developing custom reports

• Resolved numerous deadlock related issues within several processes that were causing a severe delay in lock-down of funds

• Implemented a transaction delivery system from the in-house built HedgeHog system to the newer HedgeSphere portfolio management system that eliminated dropping of valuation requests

• Designed and wrote program for creating and transmitting EDI 810 files for major telecommunications customer containing invoice information.

Integration with third party Information Product

• Created staging database for transfer of account, meter, and usage data between two systems.
