GEWI stands for Global External Workforce Initiative. McAfee employee data resides in SAP HR. Cost Center and Asset Master data is housed in SAP FI. IQNavigator is the vendor management tool used by McAfee to manage contractors and the related assets. From a business perspective there are 3 entities that need to be synced in case of any update to those.

Any changes to employees/cost center/asset master need to be synced with IQNavigator. The changes to Employees is captured as IDOCS. The changes to Cost Center also comes from SAP as IDOCS. Data changes to Asset is retrieved by making BAPI calls to SAP.

IQNavigator has RESTful web services exposed to make changes to employees/cost center/asset master.

Oracle fusion processes get the employee/cost center/asset master using the SAP adapter in the form or IDOCS/BAPI and makes the necessary transformations and invokes the RESTful web service using the HTTP Binding adapter.

Appropriate Error Handling is done to notify of errors/exceptions

The policy system of AFHI is called 'Point In' and is outsourced to CSC. ODS or the Operational Data Store is maintained in-house at AFHI that acts as the hub.AFHI (Accident Fund Holdings Inc) sells policies to companies.The premiums of the policies are determined based on the payroll data.The purpose of the PayGo automated payroll integration process is to gather payroll data from selected payroll vendors like RPM to be used to validate estimated payroll amounts defined within AFHI policy systems. For the initial rollout, Payroll information corresponding to AF policy holders, will be collected from Payroll companies and integrated into the Operational Data Store to be consolidated and fedback to Point In for auditing purposes. There are several integration points as part of the whole process that are addressed in this project.

• Policy Extract outbound to the payroll vendor from ODS.

• Payroll File inbound from payroll vendor to ODS.

• Audit Extract outbound from ODS to Point In.

• Policy Detail inbound from Point In to ODS.

All the integration processes are developed in Oracle 11g Fusion Middleware as composites. The errors caputured in the ‘Payroll File Inbound’ are interfaced to the business users in ADF to resolve them.

On a nightly basis the Agency, Client and Policy Data is moved from SQL Server to the Oracle Data Store and the files were extracted based on the data in the ODS for the downstream processes.
