Wireless Systems Design and Test Engineer

• Designed and implemented test procedures using MATLAB, Simulink and other scripting software

• 3 years experience in setup and management of remote test facility for Eion products directly reporting to the VP of Engineering

Implemented and Fabricated various VLF Radio Frequency transceivers for wireless communication (TWS/RWS 434 and HT 64X series encoders and decoders)

• Theoretical design of wireless communications for a portable traffic controller mainly used in road construction sites.

• Implemented multiple, uni-directional RF transmitter/receiver pairs to collect data from sensors, transmit them to the controllers

• Tested performance using analog infrared sensors and used error correction techniques to achieve optimum results.

• Completed two-way wireless communication between Altera Cyclone II FPGA board, the sensors and LEDs using Dr. Robot MCB 3100 series Bluetooth module.

• Added UART interface to a cyclone development board using Quartus and SOPC builder tools for communication with the wireless modules.
