Temperature Sensor using LM35DZ - Self Jun, 2010 - Aug, 2010

The LM35DZ is a temperature sensing IC whose output voltage is linearly proportional to the Celsius temperature. It is calibrated directly in Celsius, thus having an advantage over those calibrated in Kelvin, as the designer need not require subtracting a large constant voltage from the output.

In addition, another IC LM3914 is used to display the range of temperature being sensed by the LM35DZ. Thus, both the IC's put together as a circuit operate giving information about the temperature being sensed.
