Description: (ZWIK) is the municipal water utility company in the city of

Szczecin. ZWIK received the largest single tranche of funding from the

Instrument for Structural Policies for Pre-Accession in Poland. After

receiving the grant, ZWIK needed a system that would ensure accurate and up-

to-the-minute project reporting, a requirement of the European Union body

that provided the funding. ZWIK wanted Dynamics AX to be implemented with

agile methodology

Customizations and interactions with external databases were need to the

some of the important supply chain management modules in AX.

Below are some of them:

1) Utility -Renaming the item Number and all its related transactions in

various modules from a CSV file

Standard AX will help to rename the items using the Record Info >>

Rename facility. Company has decided to rename 80% of the items with

the new item Ids. Client has provided the list of items with Old items

and new items that has to get renamed.

Used CommaIO class in combination of renamePrimaryKey method to rename

one by one items using code by reducing the manual work of renaming.

2) Creation of Inventory Transfer Journals and posting the same to move

the items from one warehouse to another warehouse periodically.

Company usually moves the items every weekend some items from Quality

warehouse to their Main warehouse. The number of quantity to be moved

is defined in the item master based on the minimum inventory levels.

Shop floor or workers will physically move the items but we need to

automatically create Inventory Transfer journals and post the same

based on the quantity defined in the Item master

Business Logic: Inserted the records in to InventJournalTable and

InventJournalTrans and finally used InventJournalCheckpost to post the

journal

3) Capturing the reason for cancellation of a sales order

Requirement was to capture the reason for cancelling the sales order.

Standard AX doesn't have the facility to capture the reason code.

4) A new report which should display all the cancelled sales order lines

with limited fields along with the reason code.

Created a new report with limited fields which should display the

SalesId, Customer, Qty and the reason for cancellation and the ordered

who has cancelled the SO.

5) Display the on hand information of the items in the Item details form.

6) Customizations to the HR Modules includes

- Automatic sending an joining email [On-board email] to all the

employees based on the

Employee dates information

- Automatic email generation to the support team and the Project

Managers once the employee has been terminated from the

organization for 2 days

- Restricting the HR department to select the same Interviewer who

has referred the candidate

- User training on how to use Document Handling, Alerts etc to HR

department

7) Involved in the development/Creation of Number sequences for specific

new forms.

8) Involved in Customizations to the Bank Cheque Layouts [US, European

Banks]

Customizations were required to the US and European banks in the text

alignments, addition of new Texts, and removal of the existing texts,

resizing company logo and MICR code alignment etc.

9) Color coding of all the projects based on the project status for easy

identification

Project Description

The main aim of this Intranet mails and Crime reporting system is, it

maintains the all the information regarding the particular case and it

transfers those particular case details over the various stations in a

particular domain by using mailing system.

This system maintains the boath details of employee, and clients of a

particular case (like FIR).

By using this system, it maintain the relationship between the all stations

across the particular domain and leads to easily investigate the case and

all by using the mailing system in that particular domain save the time for

passing the records manually.
