INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

Sr. Programmer / Analyst - RSC Rental Equipment

Houston, TX. August 2005 – Present Industry: Rental Services

Team Projects:

• Creation of an inside sales system that tracks leads and employee statistics. The new system distributes the workload for adding new customers and rewarding employees that assist in the process more efficiently, and was a factor in increasing sales in the first year of operation.

• Creation and maintenance of database interfaces (via stored procedures) to an SQL Server database for mobile devices. By integrating our core operational systems with a remote field service application, technicians are able to access real-time data, improving overall effectiveness while reducing maintenance costs.

• Maintenance of database interfaces between iSeres, third parties Dodge and PEC, and Relavis Notes server. Coordinating data between multiple sources gives the sales team a broad source of information to make better decisions.

• Creation of custom Sales Prospects Repository. Creation of a repository that can list potential clients thru internal and external sources. The data can be accessed by all company locations and workloads assigned based on geographic data.

Individual Projects:

• Creation of a credit card information repository within the Wynne rental system. This helps speed the process of customer checkout for recurring accounts and customers while keeping the data encrypted with PCI compliance.

• Creation and maintenance of a data synchronization process. This recurring data refresh process is between production and multiple test environments on separate machines using data subsets. This allows for a small and current database for testing and development mirroring production while using less disk space and led to an overall reduction in release defects.

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and development of the Wynne Systems rental package RentalMan. Numerous changes to all aspects of the Wynne package. Example areas of the package include rentals, purchases, exchanges (screens and hand held devices), and financial reporting.
