• Optimizer Cost Modeling changed completely from the previous costs suggested during first implementation.
• Heuristics based planning suggested and implemented for niche segments like Cream Biscuits, Cookies etc.
• Volume and Weight based truck load building suggested instead of only volume based truck load building used previously.
• Aggregated Planning for facilitating production plans according to actual process at semi-Finished Goods level ( Like Potato Chips & Naked Biscuit level) .
• Collaborative forecasting by a central planning team with consultation from area/branch executives.

• Forecast accuracy improved from 37 % to 63 % in 4 months
• Using system generated Stock Transport orders – improved from 65 % to around 85-90%
• Adherence to system generated production plans – improved from 30 % to 80-85 % in Snacks and from 50 % to 75 % in Biscuit.
