Production Operations:

Supervising production related tasks including planning, control & troubleshooting for achieving the planned periodic schedules and process control.

Supporting vendor to implement cost effective process and search for new vendors.

Managing indignation of all importing materials and spares.

Maintenance / Troubleshooting

Planning and effecting predictive & preventive maintenance schedules for various equipment to increase machine up time & equipment reliability in co ordination with the sales and maintenance department.

Implementing maintenance schedules and carrying out periodic checks to ensure performance of equipment and maintaining requisite documents for the same.

Identifying areas of bottlenecks / breakdowns and taking steps to rectify the equipment through application of troubleshooting tools.

Maintaining and ensuring stringent adherence to quality standards, norms & practices, identifying gaps and taking corrective action.

Process Enhancement

Identifying scope for:

- Planning, implementing & monitoring of technological changes to enhance productivity.

- Modifications in equipment, process flow, working practices, consumables, power for controlling & reducing conversion cost per unit produced.

- Documentation of ISO 9001:2008 QMS, ISO/ TS 16949: 2002 as per norms including the internal & external audit.

Implementing various techniques for cycle time reduction, entailing identification of opportunities, analysis of data, conduction of tests and implementation & post audits.

Executing cost saving techniques/ measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in O&M expenditures and work within the budget.

Safety training given to all staff of Hanning Motors and Aerzen Machines India Pvt. Ltd. on 10 Jun’09.

Initiated two Poka yoke unit in assembly line of pumps. i. Magnetizer and ii. Final Leakage test of Pump.

The dispatch of Material to IFB Goa had started double staking of corrugated boxes (each box contain 348pumps) by putting side support in side the boxes.

Project Leader: Project started on Nov 2008 in forty-eight year old Gasket Plant and completed on Feb 2009.

Initiatives taken: The collection of scrap from press in was collected in boxes which are having wheels so that easy transportation and keep the area clean in all presses.
