SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Ensured global IT/IS upgrade deadlines were met. Led global project at BD that included multiple software upgrades. Created and tested new Hardware Image for all computer models. Planned roll-out strategy for 13 global sites. Maintained near 100% success rate for entire project roll out, including hardware & software reported issues.
Played key role in securing multi-million dollar contract. Orion was one of three companies vying to be the primary vendor for KPMG’s E-Audit software. Assigned task to design project to meet client needs. Directed entire build process. Orion was selected as KPMG’s primary vendor, generating approximately $9M in revenue.
Initiated cost control strategy. Tasked with slashing operating costs at Becton Dickinson. Created first global R&D CAD application vendor agreement. Consolidated effort to streamline installation processes and design global data standards. Saved company over $400K.
Expedited project completion. Build deployments at Orion Systems for several unique custom applications had taken almost 24 man-hours from preparation to delivery. Developed/maintained fully automated Visual Build Pro scripts for compilation of application sets for all environments. Expedited deployment time by 35%.
Improved project productivity. Challenged to expand software packaging resources at Becton Dickinson to include national software request support. Implemented best practice methodologies. 2005 to 2007 - Senior Packaging Specialist, Global Leader. Directed day-to-day operations of global packaging team, managing quality control, and establishing corporate standards. Implemented best practice methodologies. Improved delivery success and enhanced user experience. Led training. Oversaw four staff for day-to-day activities of the global packaging team, including resource assignment, packaging standards adherence, peer review and quality control, training, support, coaching and performance appraisals.
Enforced best practice processes for enterprise packaging and established corporate standards for Wise Package Studio package design. Responsible for packaging and testing over 2,000 global applications focusing on Windows XP migration and compatibility. Configured completed packages in Microsoft SMS 2003 for advertisement to specified collections and supervised delivery for any issues.
