OBJECTIVE:

Electrical & Instrument engineering position with a focus on Maintenance, Reliability improvement and Capital project commissioning and Start-up of Medium and High Voltage Equipment

QUALIFICATION:

• Knowledgeable of LV, MV & HV (up to 138KV) electrical equipment such as Power transformer, OCB, GCB switchgear, DC motor, large synchronous motor.

• Hand-on and working knowledge of 138kv equipment -Power transformer, OCB (Oil Circuit Breaker), GCB (SF6 Gas Circuit Breaker) Air disconnect, Line equipment

• Hand-on and working knowledge of Low & Medium Voltage equipment (480v, 2400v, 4160v, 15kv, 34 kv) _ Power transformer, ACB, VCB & GCB (SF6 Gas Circuit Breaker) Air disconnect, switchgear, Motor Control Center, induction, dc & synchronous motor, DC & Adjustable Frequency Drive.

• Knowledgeable of pressure, temperature, level & flow instrumentation, Fisher Provox DCS, Triplex and Triconex Safety Instrument System (SIS)

• Familiar with process equipment in petrochemical plant such as heat exchanger, boiler, pump and compressor.

• Industrial maintenance & maintenance management experience

• Experience with development, implementation & improvement of maintenance work process.

• NCCER, Instrument & Electrical Instructor certification (National Center for Construction Education Research)

• Six Sigma Greenbelt

• SAP user.

• Instructor on Electrical subject with electrical engineers as audience

• Microsoft Office Software: Visio, Excel, Word, Power Point

Responsible for the operation and maintenance and reliability of the 138KV substations.

Lead effort to implement maintenance program for Environmental & Safety Critical Equipment

Implementation of the Electrical Long Range Plan; Development, justification, funding and execution of reliability improvement, Maintenance replacement capital, Maintenance Cost Index improvement project.

Provide leadership and guidance to the electrical engineer, specialist, supervisor, I&E craft and process personnel.

Technical lead for Millennium/Acetyls to review the price adjustment formula of the Oxygen contract (2002) to reflect power deregulation and the double escalation aspect of the formula. Formulate a pricing structure based on Heat rate, natural gas price and delivered a favorable saving for the company

Revise and contest invoice from Air Product for Oxygen and Nitrogen supply based on 2000 contract, resulting in a $500,000 saving for a 6 month period in 2002

Low Density Reliability Team Captain – Improve unit reliability with a saving of $500M/year by reducing loss reaction and decompression events in tubular and autoclave reactors.

Develop Preventive and Predictive Maintenance procedures to standardize maintenance practices.

Develop Electrical work scope for unit Turn Around.
