Job Description: QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise quality controllers and line leaders in the in-line monitoring of production

2. Record data daily and check standard specifications during production

3. Documentation of QIP, FPS, GMP policies and SSOP manuals

4. Verify physico-chemical and microbiological analyses conducted by toll packers

5. Check concentration of chemicals and sanitizers used in the production and stores

6. Inspect and evaluate raw materials, packaging materials upon receiving

7. Conduct supplier visits and toll packer audits

8. Conduct monthly warehouse visits raw materials checking and GWP audit

9. Evaluate finished products by sensory and physical analyses

10. Conduct monthly Commissary Audit for all branches of Yoshinoya restaurants

11. Assists Corporate R&D with batch trial run tests and CLTs

12. Conduct quarterly inventory of wet and dry goods and do monthly ageing report of all items

13. Attend to store and customer complaints and initiates the investigation

14. Troubleshoot in – line problems to prevent quality issues

15. Conduct GMP and Food Safety training to production and store personnel

16. Responsible for the purchase order of wet items that will be used by all stores

17. Assist the Culinary group in preparation of new products during photo shoots

1. Performs sampling and microbiological analysis on product samples in accordance to standard sampling plans and procedures and records accordingly, and reports abnormality if there is any

2. Prepares media and other chemical ingredients used during microbiological testing

3. Assists Quality Control group in troubleshooting issues on product quality resulting from microbiological contamination.

4. Assess plant compliance to sanitation and hygiene requirements through routing microbiological tests i.e. water, raw materials, equipment, machine and line swabbing

5. Assists R&D group in their shelf life studies requiring microbiological evaluations as basis of product life

1. QC in-line

2. Ensure the availability of process control system for traceability from material preparation, work in process, finished goods and distributor

3. Monitor in house and third party calibration of laboratory equipments.

5. Conduct post process evaluation of finished goods pH, Viscosity, moisture, %TTA, TSS, % Protein and Baume

6. Inspect and evaluate incoming raw materials, packaging materials and outsourced finished goods according to specifications and standards

7. Conduct monthly internal GMP audit

8. Conduct monthly ageing report of raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods

9. Conduct lab scale for testing the comparison between the new and existing raw materials for production use

10. Assist R&D in conducting batch trial run

11. Record and analyze data for daily, weekly and monthly QC reports

12. Encode received raw materials and packaging materials on JDE system

13. Conduct Trade Visit and Suppliers Audit

14. Attend to quality related product complaints and initiates investigation of the complaint.

15. Conduct monthly-retained sample inspection

16. Comply with Quality Management System, GMP, HACCP and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies and programs
