? Manage a team of Financial and Marketing analysts in support of the Business Unit’s goals.

? Manage both the Capital and O&M budgets for the Business Unit.

? Forecast the financials for the Business Unit, using various modeling processes the results are then merged with the overall company’s financials.

Internal Controls (SOX) Coordinator 2001 - 2003 Southern Company

? Worked on the ‘initial’ Southern Company team that developed and documented the internal control framework to deploy in order to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) section 404.

? Documented and taught the majority of the initial internal controls for Southern Company’s Revenue Cycle.

? Assisted in the coordination of the internal control walk throughs for several cycles including: Financial Reporting, Revenue, Treasury, Supply Chain, Disbursements, Payroll and Corporate Tax.
