Project /Pre-commissioning/Commissioning: Responsible to develop Pre-commissioning preparation activities like water flushing, air-blowing, re-instatement, tightness test, inserting blinds, fire water, deluge system functional test, flare header, Fuel oil & gas, air system units, rotating equipment functional tests, Vessels & Column inspection loading of catalysts and chemicals, support to vendor activities & Final inspection before box-up. Replace all control valves with shim or spool, removal of blind from check valves, after completion of cleaning activities install them in respective positions. Preparation of pre functional check, P & ID punch list Check, Ensure safety on site is in conformity with Project procedures so pre-commissioning activities are safe and liaise with Company HSE on site. Technical review in detail of all Contractor Pre-commissioning engineering documents. Supervise Contractor Pre-commissioning activities on site both onshore and offshore & monitor the schedule progress. Close out of Punch points, test run with nitrogen, cold dry out, hot dry out to remove moisture from system, vacuuming, Inventorying of hydrocarbons, removal of nitrogen through vent to flare, Dry out of hydrocarbons. Commissioning: Perform technical tasks assigned by Project Commissioning Superintendent, related to the preparation and execution of the commissioning and start up activities. Executing detailed scheduling of rotating & static mechanical equipment according to maintenance plan, workload, manpower availability. Ability to identify piping specs, gaskets, bolts and nuts, valves etc. and able to carryout the work on all the piping. Ensures safe execution of all commissioning activities as per the Permit To Work system, Hot & Cold work permit, Confined space entry permit and ensure toolbox talks are completed for each critical work activity, work with vendors on site to witness compressors gearboxes & turbines alignment then do the performance test. Accept handover of all Mechanical equipment from projects dept including marked up drawing, software, manuals, spare parts special tools etc. Provide input to work scope, planning activity, prepare material requisitions and ensure their withdrawal. Assure activities relevant to machinery such as motor run-in machinery are according to stated procedures. Maintenance of Columns Vessels & Exchangers: Opening of manhole after proper isolation, removal of a damaged columns, tray, caps, valves Demister repair or replacement of the same. Cleaning by chemical, hydro jetting, brushing and air Shell test/Tube test, inspections, internal installation & box-up are carried out according to procedures. Different types of valves Gate valves, globe valves, butterfly valves, shut-down valves, motor operated valves, control valves and safety valves. Replace of upper and lower journal of M.O.V. gland packing, seat ring etc. Arresting of steam leakage by replacing gaskets & Hot Bolting. Maintain daily activity logs for projects and issue a close out statement after completion. Ensure all equipment is protected and preserved for the sailing period with specific checks for voyage to be documented. After completion of works ensure feedback and close work orders in the maintenance database & produce certificates duly signed by involved parties & hand over to the certification engineer to check all relevant documentation (e.g. P&ID, PFD, E&I drawings, etc) are updated. Attending to morning meeting with client to communicate day activities & Attending to evening commissioning team meeting to report day activities and next days planning.

Rotating & Static Maintenance: To supervise a team and provide Mechanical expertise coordinate and participate in the preventive, corrective and troubleshooting mechanical maintenance activities of plant equipment, identify & isolate faulty components on rotating & static mechanical equipment, Gas Turbine and Compressor, respecting all internal maintenance procedures and all safety regulations assure the maximum equipment availability. Assuring that maintenance plans are fully compliant with production targets & long term production system availability and reliability. Participate in the planning, scheduling & major overhaul maintenance activities & execution of shutdown, assist the section head in establishing priorities, making improvements on work methods and to participate in evaluating modification proposals, failure analysis and unscheduled shutdowns, also ensure that the shutdown maintenance jobs are carried out within the scheduled time frame. Follow-up Turbine repair and maintenance activities on all types and models of Gas turbines such as GE- LM2500+G4, Rolls Royce Avon 200 series, Solar Centaur 50, Taurus 60, Saturn, Mars, Garret, Rolls Royce and GE frame 3 Gas turbines and turbine-driven equipment, such as gas compressors, power generators and their accessories at company site in trouble shooting, resolution, guide to resolve Turbine related problems and in implementation on follow-up of Turbine condition monitoring system. Static equipment inspections required cleaning, internal installation, box-up carried out according to procedures before starting cleaning activities isolate all instruments, Checking of Orifices installation in right direction, PSV’s Testing & recertification done in the workshop, replace control valves with shim or spool, removal of blind and internals from check valves, after completion of cleaning activities install them in respective positions. To direct & participate in performing Condition Monitoring of Rotating equipment and advice on the maintenance schedule based on the analysis & update the equipment data, history & Maintain records in the system. Organize the safe consignment of parts removed from the main equipment for refurbishment & to inspect the refurbished material, to evaluate equipment performance problems and to suggest modification to reduce overall maintenance cost, to interface & coordinate with other sections in sorting out equipment problems and maintenance activities. To prepare the list of spares, tools & other material required for the maintenance jobs and issue the Purchase/Material requisitions for the Section Head approval, to inspect and confirm that the specifications are in line with the requirement of the received stock Materials. To comply with Health, Safety, Environment Management System and promote awareness among the staff, conducting Toolbox meetings with subordinates for discussing safety methods of completing the job and contribute towards achieving oil production targets. WORK EXPERIENCE

Jan 2010 Till Jan 2012: FPSO Kwame Nkrumah MV-21 in Ghana as Mechanical Supervisor (Top Side) Duties and Responsibilities: I was based in Singapore shipyard during the final construction and completion stage of the FPSO (6 months) where we did the Project, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning & Accepted handover of all Mechanical equipment from project department including marked up drawing, software, manuals, spare parts, special tools etc & provided technical support to vendors for commissioning of various equipment’s till the Vessel sailed to Ghana. We have 3 GTGs on the FPSO they are GE- LM2500+G4, Output capacity of each GTG is 32 MV. Normally we have 2 GTGs running all the time with a capacity of 22 MV on each GTG. Maximum Power consumption on this FPSO is 46 MV at times if extra Power is needed we do run all 3 GTGs together. On completion of Commissioning in Ghana my responsibilities changed to Mechanical/Maintenance Supervisor whereby I had to carry out maintenance activities in accordance with the Planned Preventive Maintenance System, ensuring all maintenance related activities are carried out to the highest standard, all test and inspection routines required by the PPMS are completed & proper records are maintained, maximizing the availability of plant equipment. Ensure that instructions given by the Maintenance Superintendent are executed and that he is kept informed of progress in all work under his supervision, including the status of spare parts, stores, consumables and repairs. Liaise and cooperate with other departments, ensuring that they are made aware of all maintenance activities carried out every day. Along with day to day activities I had to give On the Job Training (OJT) to elevate skills in local Ghanaians working under me to improve their competency level. I had also to ensure that all maintenance personnel, service contractors and personnel involved in operations under the control of the Maintenance Department are provided with adequate & suitable information to carry out their work in a safe and responsible manner. Ensure that all maintenance personnel are familiar with MODEC HSE policies. Permit to Work (PTW) system and all isolations procedures of the plant machinery are in compliance with the “MODEC Job Safety Analysis and Task Risk Assessment” (JSA/TRA) understand their emergency response duties & are aware to follow the FPSO Waste Management Plan. Participate in the investigation of accidents and incidents, audits, review of management systems & procedures formulate reports and provide corrective actions. Promoting the Multi-skilled Concept & carry out any additional tasks allocated by the Maintenance Superintendent. Knowledge of the MODEC Maintenance Philosophy, AMOS maintenance system and participate in the planning, scheduling and execution of Planned and Breakdown maintenance activities, evaluating modification proposals and failure analysis and responsible to ensure that the shutdown maintenance jobs are carried out within the scheduled time frame. Manage and maintain the records of safety critical elements and ensure good performance standards. Provide the OIM with advice and information in an emergency and assist in the coordination of Emergency Response Team.

Nov 2007 to Oct 2009: Chevron Malongo Offshore. I was in charge of 5 Platforms & handling a Maintenance crew of 12 Technician. My job involved Mentoring and coaching national technicians, where I had to Supervise & carrying out maintenance activities on all rotating/static equipment according to plan, in order to assure the maximum equipment availability respecting all maintenance procedures and follow all safety regulations. Prepare work permits required for each activity as per the Permit to Work system Cold work, Hot work, Confined space entry permit, Inter phase activity related to platform activities. Lock out Tag our prior to start the job & ensure toolbox talks are completed for each critical work activity. Follow-up Gas Turbine repair and maintenance activities for all the different types of Gas turbines and their accessories at company site & to carryout various maintenance activities of trouble shooting resolution & guide to resolve Turbine related problems. Executing detailed scheduling of rotating equipment maintenance according to maintenance plan, workload, manpower availability to the company procedures and priorities set by the maintenance operation superintendent, checking availability of materials & ensure the withdrawal. Maintenance and troubleshooting of gas turbine-driven equipment, such as gas compressors, power generators and booster pumps. Provide mechanical support for centrifugal compressors Dresser Rand & Cooper Bessemer. Water Injection pumps Gas turbine driven Sulzer & Weir. Seawater pumps, Centrifugal pumps, Oil transfer pumps, Chemical pumps, Reciprocating and Rotary type Instrument Air compressors Ingersoll-Rand. Hydraulic & Mechanically driven Cranes (Unit & Weatherford) various kinds of Valves. Heat Exchangers Air & Water-cooled type, also maintain all safety equipment on facility like Firefighting equipment, Emergency supplies, survival capsules & navigational aids. In Singapore worked with vendors Service Engineer in commissioning and startup of HP Gas Injection compressors & changed the inside cylinders to a higher capacity where we achieved desired result with the help of continues efforts through team work in the multicultural environment. Aug 2003 to June 2006: SHELL Iran Offshore, Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning project, on their Soroosh & Nowrooz fields. Job Responsibilities: My duties were to monitor & assist the Construction / Commissioning contractors on behalf of SHELL, both in the yard during erection & offshore stage. This developed into taking on commissioning activities entirely as the contractor disengaged from the project, working right to the production phase then into the Maintenance department. My duties also included coaching of Iranian staff & Provide technical support to vendors for commissioning of various equipments. Carried out preventive maintenance of major static and rotary equipments for the smooth production of offshore oil and gas, as per vendor’s specifications. Condition monitoring, vibration checks and alignment checks with electronic alignment device. Documentation through computerized maintenance management system & update equipment’s maintenance history, spare parts procurement then report to my Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. Also maintain facility safety equipment like fire fighting equipment, emergency supplies, survival capsules & navigational aids. Hydro testing of Vessels, Exchangers & Pipelines.
