SKILLS AND STRENGTH :

•Worked - in oil sands core logging & monitoring , in determining base of glacial drift, in identifying appropriate rock layer and calling for surface-hole casing, in tagging limestone by studying drilled cores & shale-shack samples and calling TD.

•Trained at the Horizontal Well for Heavy Oil-Basin; of the Husky Oil Operations Ltd. near Vermilion, Alberta.

•Familiar with WellSight system, , Pason (Electronic Drilling Recorder) system, preparation of Strip log and daily report.

•Completed CANSTRAT sample examination Course, TDG, H2S alive, First Aide with CPR and Petroleum Safety Training (PST includes WHMIS).

•Knowledge on Computer operation.

•Seven-year experience as geologist includes both field work and teaching.

•Taught Petroleum geology, Sedimentology and Structural geology in the University.

•Good Communication skills – both written and oral.

•Fluent in English and Bangla. Speak some German, French, and Hindi.

•Good driving record and vehicle for field travel.

•Worked in Oil-sands in winter 2012 in Fort McMurray region for Nexen Group with Serpa Petroleum Ltd. – spuding , core monitoring & logging, determining base of glacial drift, identifying appropriate rock layer and calling surface-hole casing, tagging limestone by studying drilled cores & shale-shack samples and calling TD.

•Running an investment business in Canada (Owner & Director of Bushra Petroleum Inc.) since 2005 – present.
