WORK EXPERIENCE:

RF Engineer (LTE Network) Client: AT&T

(June’ 11- Present) Market: NCAL

Tools Used: TEMS 13.0.x, Actix, Google Earth, Microsoft Streets & Maps

• Beginning the project with thorough understanding of the client’s requirements, going with the priority of the sites to be passed within certain deadlines.

• Technically, perform SSDs on the pre-launch LTE sites, by verifying PCI’s , RSRP, CINR then going with four different throughput tests on each sector (UDP DL/UL & TCP DL/UL), followed by Intra-handover between the sectors and the IRAT test

• Responsible for troubleshooting the low-throughput issues, working with NDS team

• Also responsible for drive test data post processing and detail problem analysis.

• Overcome the issues of Swap-Feeder, by working the Integration team.

• Do analysis on the integration of the sites with the 3G technology by performing the Cluster drives and analyzing those results.

• Requested special drives to check the handovers and throughputs both in ideal and connected mode.

RF Engineer (LTE Network) Client: Metro PCS

(Nov ’10-May`11) SFO-BAYAREA

Tools Used: Asscom TEMS 11.0, Actix

• Performed shake down testing for the pre-launch LTE carrier, also did successful handover between the three sector sites.

• Checked and performed troubleshooting for the respected throughputs for download and upload.

• Responsible for drive test data post processing and detail problem analysis

• Created and edited command sequences for different test requirements

RF Engineer (UMTS Network) Client: AT&T

(Feb ’10-Oct ‘10)

Tools Used: Nastar, Ericsson TEMS, ACTIX

• Work with senior engineers in RF planning and optimization teams

• Did field optimization and also soft optimization by planning neighbor and primary scrambling code

• Responsible for drive test data post processing and detail problem analysis

• Generated report based on analysis for problematic area in Microsoft Power Point for further investigation and created re-drive routes based on drive result

• Involved in final KPI report generation based on drive test result, which include some suggestion to improve network performance in troublesome area

• Support for the network integration of a new UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA carrier.

• Troubleshoot of Low Throughput issues for HSDPA and HSUPA calls, network congestion related issue

• Overcome issues such as CS/PS Drop call, Access Failure, IRAT failure and IFHO failure

• Performed analysis on scanner drive data to overcome issue of coverage hole, Pilot polluted area, and Non-dominant server, interference from boomer cell

• Adjustment of handover events parameters.

• Conducted SSV analysis for site functionality test for accessibility and HO

• Preparing initial neighbor lists, and optimizing neighbor list according drive test results.

• Responsible for Creating, modifying and auditing neighbor list relationship for new and existing sites time to time.

• Performed RF Data collection for various markets using Agilent and TEMS Investigation tools.
