I am a highly experienced health care professional who is seeking a position as a Nursing instructor.

I have grown and expanded within my nursing career, working from basic nursing, with a broad base of experience in diverse cultural and ethnic settings, to a role of Advanced Practice Nurse. I have practiced in clinics with limited resources, at two Community Health Centers, as well as at Indian Health Service hospitals. I have limited skills in speaking Spanish.

I served as the Directory of Midwifery Services in the two practices I was recruited to establish, at the request of the Executive Director of OneWorld Community Health Center and the OB/GYN Chief of Service at Creighton University Medical Center, in Omaha, Nebraska and the other in Council Bluffs, Iowa. I also supervised two CNM's that I hired after the practice grew.

I worked in conjunction/collaboration with Creighton University 0B/GYN's and taught in the Residency program.

Previously, Darnall Army Community Hospital, I worked with 14 other Midwives and 15 Physicians in the Women's Health Clinic and on the Labor Deck managing inpatients during their intrapartum and postpartum periods.

During my tenure at DACH and OWCHC I was involved in teaching responsibilities. Primarily with Midwifery students, new graduate midwives, residents, medics, EMT students and medical students and residents.

As a midwifery student I spent a summer at Pine Ridge Indian Hospital working with Oglala Sioux women and attending births at that facility:
