Ensure that internal policies and procedures align to the international standard ISO 45001.

Ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to Occupational health, safety and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting

(specifically with the Labour and Mining Law) company rules, regulations

Make sure all working are complying with company and country rules, laws and regulations

Evaluate, implement tailored leading indicators to improve OHS statistics

- Making sure that Employees are participating in our OHS system improvement.

- Prepare yearly OHS Departmental program (objectives, targets, plan to achieve them, measurement means.), resources are in place and ready by December. Yearly program to be broken to monthly program, then broken into weekly program and send on weekly basis.

- Ensure that all planned activities, programs are completed on time,

- Ensure that all accidents are documented, investigated and recommended improvements implemented.

- Ensure that HSE inspections are carried out, fire drills and fire alarms are correctly reported, safety inspections, risk assessments and working procedures are managed and employees are aware of their responsibilities

- Establish a full programme of documented HSE inspections, audits and checks

- Liaise with the OHS Manager to ensure there is good contact with external HSE consultants in the provision of training programmes and services

- Keep up to date with all aspects of relevant HSE & welfare at work and communicate relevant changes to the business
