WORK EXPERIENCE:

2/2021 – 7/2023: MUSC – Nursing Supervisor (A O D). House Nursing Supervisor – over a 400 bed hospital but usually 200 bed. Was in operation when first begin. House Supervisor was responsible for all entities with in the health care facility.

2020 – 2/2021: Prisma Health – Admissions Nurse in home health division.

2019-4/2020: Augusta University Medical Center- Charge, staffing RN on Med. Surg, which operated as Step-down Intensive Care Unit, specializing in caring for patient that were on surgical ENT service.

2016-Present: Adjunct Professor - University of South Carolina, School of Nursing &

Working Prisma (Palmetto Health) staffing 8-12hrs weekly on Med surgical units, Intensive care units, medical trauma and Surgical Trauma.

2006 –2015: Emory University Hospital, Educator in neurology department and other critical care departments and staff nurse in NICU. Nursing Informatics, Facilitator of Supply Management at Grady Hospital.

I set up the company by forming a governing body, writing all the policies and procedures, and got the company accreditation approved, provided marketing of medications and DME while having the responsibilities of obtaining contracts with providers and in-home nursing agencies.

1996-1998: Home Care Therapeutics (Coram Company) Home Infusion Company: Liason for Bone Marrow Transplant patients. I provided education to the patients and caregivers and the nursing staff, concerning medication, policies and procedures for caring for an oncology patient at home in which hospital medical marketing was a part of the job.

1984-2009: Resource Personnel (staffing agency): Provide staffing for critical care areas such as Oncology and Medical Surgical Units, and providing educational classes when needed, worked at Aiken Medical Center in the Orthopedic Unit, where I was trained to care for orthopedic Surgical Patients. Worked in varies Emergency Rooms in varies hospitals in South Carolina and Augusta Georgia.
