After leaving Jet Design due to completion of project case load, a took a long holiday to the Caribbean visiting family. Leading the deployment, architecture delivery and RESTful API integration. Completed and worked on 6 projects after which I left because Development Work had finished and the Director decided to not take on any more projects as she found it difficult to Direct having not done in house development before. ELAS, Eccles M30 0PW, 04/21 - 08/21: Full Stack PHP Developer. Post lockdown, I take up on-site roles again. Using Azure DevOps, AngularJS-6, Composer and Laravel 7 Headless CMS for organisations like Hotter Shoes and the NHS, such as a complex Employer Relationship Management application integrating Angular with Laravel. Quit due to illness coinciding with multiple redundancies and unfair expectations. Cambria Chambers 02/20 - 04/21: Freelancing. I was contacted through LinkedIn to write a book called Webpack 5 Quick Start Guide, a concise software manual for the popular application bundler. I thought this would help my career and jump at the opportunity. I was offered a full contract on the 1st of March 2019.

Welton Media, 23 Goodlass Rd, Liverpool L24 9HJ. 11/18 - 01/19: Contract Web Developer. Simultaneously at Uplec, I agreed to help a colleague with some troubleshooting issues with Welton Media’s client portfolio such as ADDvanced Solutions, addiction charity and Church Road Dental. The role involved PHP debugging and Javascript.

Uplec Industries, Sensor City Liverpool L3. 08/18 - 02/19: Senior Software Developer. uplec.co.uk, keenofit.com Taking a lead role in the deployment of a web app and closely guarded tech that allows Clinicians to communicate with Patients at home with the use of object detection camera technology for automated rehabilitation regimes. Involving PHP, JSON and Adobe CS to integrate with a Unity platform, Angular 2, Bootstrap, Ionic, Azure, Webpack.js, MS SQL Server, Visual Studio 2017 and Node.js. While working at Uplec I embarked on a Masters programme which I applied for while lecturing. Uplec supported me with flexible work hours. Eventually, timetable conflicts meant I had to resign from my role at Uplec (see education section). Hotter Shoes, Skelmersdale near Wigan 06/18 - 07/18: Contract Front-end and Javascript Developer. After leaving Adapt, I was immediately offered a contract role through an agency with the UK’s largest shoe manufacturer as they prepared their latest development cycle for launch (hotter.com ) I used; Monetate, IBM Websphere, Google Tag Manager and Jira Agile Scrum Environment. The role required the creative use of JS and frameworks to make edits that would normally need back end access, which was unavailable. Adapt Training Ltd. 80 NMBC Woodward Rd, Knowsley Ind. Park 04-18 - 06-18: Contract Web-based System Developer. Jointly while at SAE, I accepted an offer to help this training provider develop their website and online management portal (adapt-training.uk ). The role centred around PHP, SQL, JS, AJAX, Front End and heavy application of UX design. I was the sole designer and developer at the firm. The company managed the staff training for very esteemed companies such as McLaren Racing Ltd. and Liverpool FC. Principally acting as a senior advisor and consultant on building a team for digital for the online retailer. As the agreed pay increase did not take place with OSO Digital I resigned. I was then invited to lecture on my internet entrepreneur experience at the institute and was consequently offered a position. I saw this as a fantastic opportunity to work with an internationally accredited educational institution and the opportunity to impart my knowledge and enhance the lives of young people through education.

I was, therefore, able to resign on good terms. I also operated a part-time market stall for clearance which gave me an introduction to retail. My job revolved around Graphic Design and Photoshop responsibilities as well as to a lesser degree design and development of the existing web presence. My responsibilities included HTML5, app development with Adobe InDesign using extensions such as Folio Builder. I gained a wealth of experience at a large professional company who have numerous industry-leading Clients. I took a lead role in the interactive parts of digital production. This included updating the Chelsea FC website and the TM Sports Media website. Clients also included Everton FC, Arsenal FC, Welsh Rugby Union, English Rugby Union, West Bromwich Albion, Tottenham Hotspur, Nike Tiempo and publications on behalf of the Royal Family and even Muhammad Ali.

It was also a fantastic opportunity to travel across the country. I also spent 6 months based on the islands of Trinidad and Tobago..
