I am working at Herons Key as a dietary aid where I prepare meals and beverages to meet the dietary needs of the residents. I serve residents in their private rooms as well as the community eating area, working in both assisted living and skilled nursing facility environments. Other duties I perform are cleaning, dishwashing, stocking shelves and organizing. Prior to being hired on as an employee I volunteered at many marketing events.

As a dishwasher I preformed a number of kitchen activities including pot washing, dishwashing, general cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies.

Clubs/Activities:

ROV (Remotely operated vehicle) was club I was a member of for 5 years, during this club I learned skills that are helpful in everyday life such as; working as a team in planning, designing, and assembling of the vehicle. Once the vehicle was complete we were able to use them in a competition where we were given different obstacles and challenges.

Rachel’s Challenge is a non-political, non-religious, non-profit organization dedicated to creating a positive school culture and ending school violence in all its forms. I was the president of Rachel’s Challenge, leading and encouraging people to help the school and put a smile on peoples faces.
