As a full-stack software engineer I facilitated course work integration into e-learning providers/platforms; providing facilities for student/teacher/admin facing portals

Presentr.me (on the AWS stack) is a public speaking-coaching startup, with a web and mobile platform for analyzing speech/voice & posture/video metrics, returning scores and offering tips for improving your skills. During my time there, I fixed several critical issues with their mobile and web platforms also adding features such as displaying uploaded content while practicing presentations (to closer emulate a real environment), made improvements to their audio scoring system and added new d3 charts for displaying analytics. I also provided support for the new developer, teaching and helping them learn the system(s) and how they interact. Freelance / Contractor (multiple-companies) (Phalcon/NodeJS) Jan 2018 – Nov/2019

I have had the pleasure of working on short & mid-term duration projects (accelerating project delivery and fixing code-related issues) for payment systems, template systems, medical software, 3rd party API integrations, document management, OCR, and E- Learning/Education to highlight a few. I was given and executed on the opportunity to help these companies stay up to date with latest software architectures and deliver stable products/features in a timely manner. Developed primarily with Vue & Laravel/NodeJS, among a few other dev stacks and writing unit/acceptance tests to ensure code quality.

Rebuilt and re-engineered their legacy Mobile App for process serving with a new Cordova based Hybrid App (iOS & Android) and coded and deployed a new JSON REST-API in PHP with existing MySQL DB structure. Ongoing contract for support of systems and client requested changes. (Ended 2019)

Senior Software Engineer for a well-known and established global big-data and technology firm. I worked on several high-profile key products for primarily two divisions. For the RISK Division I developed and debugged Front-End

(JS/CSS/HTML) – (XML/XSLT). Working in tandem with QA, Design & fellow Developers to find and resolve issues and program planned features. I also had a hand in several Zend Framework Products, implementing new features and analytics; facilitated development with 3rd party companies and internal/external APIs (mostly REST and SOAP) in conjunction working with the DB, DevOps & Business teams. Senior LAMP Engineer for litigation support company, with 120+ employees and 15 offices nationwide, responsible for all aspects of designing, debugging, maintaining web-application and mobile software for core business. Converting business ideas/technical requirements into code with scale and security in-mind.

JJLProcess’s core architecture and systems are extensively LAMP based. I developed and implemented their High Availability and Disaster Recovery System (Filesystem/SQL replication and DNS failover). During my time there I re-wrote many of the key systems including a DB connection class to handle load balancing and failover. I audited the system to improve performance by indexing MySQL, rewriting queries, improving database structure and moving to SSD storage.

- Developed native (JAVA) Android App (TrueServe Mobile) for employees in the field.

- Created custom auto data export system. File formats: CSV, XLS, YGC

& custom file formats.

- Developed dynamic court/legal document templates with auto data insertion

(HTML to PDF Libs).

- Re-wrote Google Maps Interface (Moved from V2 to V3 API). -

Developed various web and software solutions and provided administration of computer systems for RSS Labs, Linkscape, and US Coverage. At Linkscape: I had the opportunity to co-develop technologies and a platform for tracking, monitoring, and supporting their Satellite Modem (VSAT) Internet Service for Ultra High-End Luxury Yachts ($20M+). These systems were developed extensively in Python. Both the modem and backend systems were powered by Linux.
