Facebook fame: Created two webpages on Facebook in a great marketing move, using the name and likeness of my famous dog, an English Mastiff named Whiskey River Smith. (He became famous after giving him a virtual rock-star persona on Facebook. Created a virtual all-dog rock band online, and wrote many dog-related musical memes. The memes often went viral, drawing social media attention for dog rescue. Designed original concert T-shirts with images of the band, “Whiskey River and The Jello Shots,” which the dog rescue sold as part of a fundraiser. After being featured twice in American Dog Magazine, Whiskey River passed away at the age of ten in 2018.)
