Major achievements:

1. Establishing Assistive technology unit for disabled people with many programs 2005-2008: a) Establishing Low Vision clinic in the rehabilitation hospital at King Fahad Medical City (KFMC).

b) Establishing Gait Analysis Biomechanics in the rehabilitation hospital at KFMC. c) Establishing Seating program for disabled people (Cerebral Palsy, Spinal Cord Injuries) in the rehabilitation hospital at KFMC (national coverage) d) Robotic system for stroke patients

e) Driving simulator for low vision patients

2. Establishing Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program in King Fahad Medical City (KFMC) since 2008.

3. Introduce Datix incident reporting system in King Fahad Medical City, with my own developed taxonomy and incident flow that is now part of Datix (workflow 7) in 2012. 4. Datix system Administrator since 2012.

5. Advocate and train ERM risk management based on the international standard ISO31000:2009 since 2013.

6. Advocate for unified reporting system as an idea in 2013 with Saudi MOH. The idea became had the name of SAWTAK the national unified reporting system for Saudi Arabia and I was part of the team to build the system.

7. Establishing KFMC Mortality & Morbidity Unit under Risk Management in 2014. 8. Member of the team to establish the Saudi Patient Safety Centre (SPSC). 9. Chairman of Saudi Taxonomy for patient safety 2017-2018. Regular upgrade is done by myself on an annual basis. Last update done for the SPSC on May 2023. 10. Major contributor and a reviewer to the Saudi Arabia MOH mandatory manual for risk management in 2017.

Hope hospital and Southport spinal cord injury unit, UK 1992-1997 Title: Clinical rehabilitation research assistant

Clinics, at hope hospital and Southport spinal cord injuries for spinal injury patients. During those clinics we investigated patient's problems and how to be helped using assistive devices. Special orthotics (Reciprocating Gait Orthosis, RGO) which I have designed during my PhD were more tested and prescribed for spinal cord injury patients. In addition, the usages of Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) were further investigated for the reduction of energy consumption during walking with the RGO. Seating was another area where spinal cord injury needed to avoid pressure sores and spinal cord secondary deformities like scoliosis. Publication
