CURRENT JOB:

Joined Pashto service DEEWA (U.S. Global Media Agency) as Multi Media International Journalist on September 09, 2009 – June 30,2023.

EXPERIENCE:

Joined Central News Organization, Radio Pakistan as Pashto News Translator and Reader in 1970 on Casual Basis.

Appointed as News Translator on 1 November 1972 in the same Organization on Permanent Basis after qualifying competitive examination for the said post.

Promoted to the post of ASST NEWS. EDITOR (PASHTO) and transferred from central news organization Islamabad to Radio Pakistan Peshawar to conduct Pashto news from Peshawar.

Promoted to the Post of Pashto News Editor and transferred back to Radio Pakistan Islamabad to HEAD and SUPERVISE the Pashto Language Unit of the PBC News) Radio Pakistan Islamabad.

Headed and Supervise Pashto language unit of PBC News Radio Pakistan Islamabad since March 22, 2000, to January 3, 2008. As the head of the unit, I performed the responsibilities of Editing and supervising of the News, looked after the financial and budgetary matters.

Have Sufficient Experience of making News in English, Pashto & Urdu.

Have Sufficient Experience of Broadcasting in Pashto and translation work from English into Pashto.

Have been doing administrative work as a HEAD of Pashto Language Unit Including taking Tests of the intending Casters/ Translators and recommending the capable among them for appointment.

Preparing monthly duty Schedule for the unit and making alternate arrangements during the leave of the members of the unit.

Signing daily performance sheets of the subordinates of the unit totaling 16 members.

Writing down the Annual confidential reports of the subordinates.

Retired from service as Pashto news editor on January 04, 2008 from Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation News Radio Pakistan Islamabad,

HONORS:

Granted certificate of merit for carrying out social work during the college period (1967-68)

Best proficiency award for the year 2000 granted by the PBC news Islamabad.

Selected as Man of the Year (2000) by American Biographical Institute (ABI) for the overall accomplishments and contributions to society.
