As a System Administrator and Technician managed every aspect of information technology at Ministry of Defense, including but not limited to:

•Responsible for technical support for all computers and peripheral devices connected to office Intranet, Windows 10, Windows 7 installation, troubleshooting, technical support, IPSec and administration

•Perform updates of security patches using SCCM or WSUS offline and make sure that all computers within the Ministry are malware free

•Install and maintain software such as Windows Operating System (7, 10, Servers NT, 2000, 2008 R2, 2012 R2 up to 2019), Microsoft Office Suite (up to 2019) or any other software needed for successful work; or hardware such as expanding RAM, upgrading CPU, replacing HDD, upgrading/expanding RAID-5 on multiple servers, restoring OS from backup using Acronis, Veeam or Norton backup solutions

•Responsible for network security, specifically making sure that all network computers are virus free, have latest security patches installed and upgrades using GFI LanGuard or any other network security and vulnerability scanner using Acunetix products for scanning hosts.

• Responsible for penetration testing of in-house built applications and/or Intranet servers.

• Part of a team assembled for building SOC from ground up with emphasis on forensic investigation, log analysis utilizing SIEM

• Engineer/administrator of Office web portal with integration of IP security policies to limit access to data and files. Also implementing full and/or incremental backup solutions for quick restoration of data in case of serious crash.

• Built and maintained RAID-5 array in order to minimize potential loss of files in case of hard drive failure.

• Set up automated power solutions to prevent data loss in case of power failure.

• Lead trainer in seminars on topics such as; safe ways of surfing the Internet, basic principles of phishing and avoidance of identity theft
