Team Lead for the Dispute Automated Tracking (DAT) and Electronic Form Work (EFW) applications.

DAT is a WF High Risk web-based application to detect and prevent Debit card fraud supporting Fraud Operation and Debit Card Fraud Operation leveraging the WF internal middleware web services and external Visa interfaces. DAT was designed and developed internally employing Spring/MVC, JQuery, JSON, AJAX, technologies, Axis web services, Tibco Workflow, Websphere, Windows servers, and SQLServer.

Leads DAT to migrate to Tomcat from Websphere and upgrading to Spring 5.0 from Spring 2.0.

Served as Team Lead and SME for the following DAT projects: Applet rewrite to Spring/Jquery, Security Remediation to resolve vulnerabilities complying to Wells Fargo, while mentoring team members in India location. Agile is the methodology driving the projects.

Tapped as Team Lead and SME to EFW projects. Leads the rewrite EFW to Spring/Jquery from Java Applet deploying to Google Cloud Platform. The project will be migrating NAS documents/images to KAFKA base subscription, Rest web service, use APIGEE for web services publication, replacing Tibco to Light Weight Workflow and Websphere with Tomcat servers.

Accomplishments, Development and Responsibilities:

Coded the Work tab using Jquery, Javascripts, Spring 1.2, Edge and Java 1.8. I designed and code to integrate the customers call to launch (screen pop) the Work tab from the IVRU. This was very complex and challenging due to multiple business partners from Voice, incoming business channels and System of Record like Savings, Checking and IRA applications.

Coded the login process using the system stack to allow access to DAT as a secondary application guard rail using the profiles stored in Sqlserver. Coded from scratch the Javascripts/Views, Controllers, Models to retrieve user provides and enable certain fields, dropdowns, links, and hovering. Etc. I coded the abstract objects to be used (extended) by other functions and tabs within DAT UI.

I designed and coded the AJAX calls from RPC to retrieve backend data either from DB or web service.

I designed and coded the web service client calls to Visa, an external partner to retrieve all debit cart transactions and disputes and events. It was coded using Axis 1.2 working and defining the rules and fire wall security with Visa development team.

I coded API calls to Tibco cases, queues, priorities events in Java 1.8. API calls were reuse and extended in batch and Microsoft service running 24/7.

Applications Systems Engineer 5, Senior Developer August 2013 – July 2017

Application System Engineer 5 for PREVENT and Fraud Services applications.

PREVENT is a WF internal web-based application to detect and prevent Debit and Credit card fraud supporting Virtual Channel Group Fraud Operation, Card Fraud Operation and Home Equity leveraging the WF internal middleware such as: ECPR, APS, DCBS, CCBS and other SORs, and external interfaces provided by Visa and FDR. PREVENT application was designed and developed internally employing Grails 1.3.5, Groovy, JQuery, JSON, AJAX, JQuery, YUI, Java/J2EE technologies, Axis web services, Tomcat, Linux/Solaris, and Oracle. PREVENT implemented the full software development life cycle using industry and Wells Fargo standard methodologies.

Fraud Services is a middleware application providing Fraud detection services for WF internal business partners. Fraud Services was developed internally and employing Java, Restful services, Oracle, Spring then deployed in Tomcat.

Drove the Safety and Soundness for PREVENT and Fraud Services applications

Acted as SME and Point of Contact for CLT/EASP Secure Development Practices

Completed the EASP Secure Development deliverables

Led and onboarded EGS teams to Fortify. Both PREVENT and Fraud Services completed the Fortify scans, identified and mitigate severity 1, 2 and 3 issues then imported scans in ThreadFix.

Led and onboarded EGS teams to SDE and ThreadFix tools.

Led the 2016 Java Alignment to Java 1.8, migrated MQ channels to TLS and upgraded high security patches for Java, Tomcat and Apache.

Completed IPV6 survey mandated by WF Enterprise by identifying the requirements and impact.

Led the technical discovery to implement the Modularize and Modernize (M2) architecture, and Digital Experience Framework (DEF) from Digital Channel Technology group to leverage web responsive design and development for future PREVENT releases.

oCoded business rules to Java 1.7.0_85 to mitigate the Urgent Java Security Update

oCoded the DB calls inTomcat 7 from Tomcat 6. Rewrite the Java business rules in Prevent to retrieve data from Oracle DB.

Designed, developed, and implemented business functions for R1.15, R2.15, R3.15 and R4.15.

oCoded the Single Sign On (SSO) between PREVENT and Alert Next Generation (ANG) application which allow PREVENT users to not have to login to ANG. SSO is using Ping Federated

oCoded to migrate the functions to JQuery from YUI to complete Customer Experience (CX) assessment of PREVENT application.

oCoded the Case disposition client interface to CXF web services as part of the upgrade to Falcon 6, an SOA external application.
