(1) Graduated from Hoover High School in Glendale California in 1970. I carried a GPA of around 3.45.
(2) I attended and Graduated from Glendale Junior College in 1972 with a AA degree in Biology with a 3.85 GPA.
(3) I attended Humboldt State in Wildlife Management from 1972 to 1976 with a 3.15 GPA. Bachelors in Wildlife Biology.
(4) I attended and completed a certificate program in Real Estate at Shasta Community College in 2005 with a 4.0 GPA.
(5) Certificate in Paralegal Studies GPA 4.0 Strafford Career Institute Since I have been employed most of my life in a Professional Capacity, I will try to give the reader a view into the many qualifications that I may have. I will begin with the present and go backwards for the about 20 years. I am a 68 year old male with lots of experience and education.
8/10/2018 to present . I have been working for myself as a LYFT driver in and around Shasta county California. I have a perfect 5.0 rating. It has been both challenging and fun. 2001 to 7/03/2017.. Manager and CEO of Global outreach Grant Writing. I have written towards funding several Thousand grant proposals representing all types of grants. I have worked with non-profits to individuals. I am the best in all areas of research and writing and familiar with all aspects of the grant process. I have and do manage from 2 to 4 employees for the last ten years.. I am easy to find online through Better Business Bureau or Manta amongst others profiling services. Just type in Global Outreach Grant Writing or Grant Writers Redding California to find me. I have worked with individuals to CEO s to the President’s cabinet. 1991 to 2001 I was an independent paralegal. I worked for many self representing individuals as well as many lawyers wanting to hire a paralegal to work on cases of their choosing. I also have worked for judges doing case research for them in their chambers. This was a part-time situation most of the time either by the hour or by the job. My specialty areas were criminal law, Real Estate law, and Business and Civil Law.
Up until the time I started Global Outreach Grant Writing, I did many other things to make money. I did work for George s pest control for a couple years in California when I first moved to Redding Ca. in 1997. Prior to that while living in Montana and during the years that my paralegal business was building, I drove school bus for 6 years with Beach transportation in Missoula Montana. Also while in Montana I owned a convenience store called Ole s Country store in Missoula. Along with managing a self serve mini storage in West Missoula for about 3 years part time.
It is also worth mentioning that I substituted in the Missoula county school system on an on call basis in all grades.
Other things in the past include being an enrollment representative for High Tech Institute out of Phoenix Arizona with Montana being my territory, as well having worked as a milk delivery many for Meadow Gold Dairies. During the many years in Montana I also owned and managed a remodeling business called Rocky Hall Painting and Remodeling, which provided employment for occasionally myself, but mostly for my son and his friends as he grew up. This business was also an opportunity for many youth needing employment as times were very hard for young men in Missoula Montana in the 80’s. Also in my early years I worked in environmental planning with the U.S. Forest Service and for two private planning companies. I have done private research contracts in plant taxonomy, as well as having taught at the college level at Humboldt State during my senior year.
I also have been published in the journal of Wildlife management twice as well as having ghost written with a team of writers on three novels. I am currently writing and soon to be published a novel about the abuse of youth in America. I have always been a self starter and always willing to try and to in most cased succeed where others failed. I believe in hard work and the determination to keep going towards your goals no matter what. I bring to the table many years of experience and knowledge in many thing, If given the chance I know I will make a success out of anything I try.
