Confirm all parts (automotive industry) are in tolerance with customer prints. CMM all parts of each machine and coincided stations. Hard gage any discrepancy that falls outside parts tolerance and have tool setter adjust or move tools to comply with said prints.Confirm moves were accurate and acceptable for shipping. Address non conforming pieces and determine if they were scrap and what type scrap was assigned to part. Disposition parts and determine reason behind scrap is correct or can be reworked. Process all metal coming into plant for job identification and proper inventory. Enter data into inventory and direct said material to assigned location in storage. Deliver prints to welders and compile all pieces needed to build conveyors for asphalt plants and recycling plants.Check every piece tact together prior to hard weld is dimensionally correct. Add welders in building assignment correctly. Help train welders plasma operators and saw department in effective assembly of job. Load equipment to semi trucks to be delivered to customer or sister plant. Sometime drive parts to sister plant or pick up outsourcing products. Involved in people development according to shop needs. Work with Engineers and managers to increase all aspects of company vitality.

Cut and etch all welds for every weld produced on shift that day. Enter photos and tolerances of welds in computer on Pax it system for weld certification for customer reveiw. Hard gage all pieces for functionality prior to packing. Take calls as needed though-out the day. Supervised shift and addressing all production issues and mentoring associates. Work with engineers and management to insure production goals are met and customer’s requirements are fulfilled. Nishakawa

Check all profile (extruded rubber to be made into weather strip for automotive industry). Honda,Ford,Chevrolet,Toyota and Nissan was the customers we supplied. Check dimensions,laser print,silicon spray, torque tests and quality of in process inventory prior to production. Take quality calls and make informed decision as to what is and is not acceptable for processing. Responsible for calls good, bad, or suspect, for plant night shift. Insure operators are following process and procedures as specified. Check cross section of all carts of profile to be put in inventory or sent to sister plants .(Fort Wayne and Berne)
