MDM Customer Dashboard July 2015 – March 2015

Description:

MDM Customer Dashboard is to highlight the inconsistent data about customer throughout Energy Systems. Dashboards would be created to display discrepancy in Customer Dimensions information between various systems. ES has only about 68% of consistent data, remaining 32% is inconsistent. ES collect data about customers from 3 sources,

CAT (Customer Add Tool) – It’s a web application designed internally by GE.

D&B (Duns and Bradstreet) – It’s a third Party which maintains the information about the customer.

Trillium- It’s a third Party which maintains the information about the customer.

The customer data from above 3 sources flows to Customer Master File (CMF). From CMF it is used for feeding various transaction system and Reporting system, this is where the discrepancies creeps in. The requirement is to have a system which can show the discrepancies between the CMF and the various Transaction and Reporting systems.

Responsibilities:

Develop ETL mappings to extract data from both the CMF and Target System (Transaction and Reporting) and load it into the Data Model.

Interpreted complex Business specifications developed by the client and generated reports to meet customer specifications.

Do the error validation of the data moving from Data Model to the database.

Prepare the requirements analysis document and unit test case document for each module.

Design and develop the package.

Design the dashboard reports with the TSG standard with no query joins and external uhjgesql (Sql override)
