QA/QC Inspector ( Piping & RTR )

Responsiblities :-

Responsible for QC Inspection in accordance to approved PQP Procedure for the mechanical piping of metallic & non-metallic RTR inspection installation of pipes fittings & spools, gasket installation,bolt tightening. Installation of all types of valves & check valves, other related mechanical activities. Visual inspection of spools marked up & identification.

Check the instrument equipment use for hydro testing such as manifold, pressure gauge, relief valves ensure that properly calibrated with tag label sticker for valid date of expiry. Conduct line checking on all pipeline to ready for hydro test.

Conduct inspection activities in project through the implementation of PQP, QCP, ITP, as per approved issue for construction drawing &applicable standards.

Witnessing hydrostatic test of new pipe line &spools, valves, cleaning & flushing pipes verification, identification of pipes spools, valves equipment’s. Ensure that all pertinent inspection QC records & documentation in order to final handover to clients.

Verify line modification prior to proceed & make sure all procedure as per standards & verify approved construction drawing base to the latest revision review as build drawing and finally coordinate to client for all hold point inspection required.

All above items are approved as per P.O.& NMR 601&602 together with compliance certificate and material test certificate prior to release to project site and provide technical assistance to QA/QC Manager for the preparation of project quality plan, Quality control procedure,& ITP, work instruction pre— commissioning & test package material level of inspection, Purchase requisition submittals, Vendor source, Inspection assignment package, Final inspection disposition report, Assist the QA Manager in training & indoctrination of QA/QC Personnel especially on wielding piping & structural inspection.

Coordinate for the third party testing agency technician for the proper execution of a particular jobs. Maintain QA/QC statistic for the project responsible for the supervision & organization of QA/QC activities for implementation of all standards, specification, testing, precommissioning of project. Responsibilities

Review the documents according to project specifications

(procedures, method of statement, Inspection test plan and etc..)

Participate in subcontractor kick-off, pre inspection meetings and project quality meetings. Review of the subcontractor documents and monitor Sub-contractor performance for compliance with quality requirements.

Ensure and review of material test certificates and witnessing of material inspection as per project requirement and /or client specification for procurement of materials.

Review of welding procedure specification and witnessing welding procedure qualification test and welder performance qualifications to ensure compliance to the able code, approved drawings, procedure & specifications.

Co-ordinate a team of Piping Inspectors.

At all times adopting the one team approach for the full execution of the fabrication works.

As a representative of Company leading by example on all issues

Ensure that the design intent is preserved in accordance with technical engineering requirements and within Company and Project quality expectations.

Ensure compliance with the Project Quality Plan and Quality Strategy.

Support the Construction team and ensure that all Quality requirements and procedures are understood.

Attend appropriate quality audits and Inspections covering Contractor, Suppliers and sub-contractors.

Report deviations and Non-conformances.

Ensure Contractor quality management plans are followed.

Participate in weekly quality meetings.

Verifying and reviewing welding consumable test certificates and monitoring the preservation, storage & handling of electrodes and calibration status of electrode backing and holding ovens

Monitoring/ witnessing and surveillance inspection of ongoing welding, fabrication and painting activities at the field and work shop

Witnessing and surveillance inspection activities during construction of new pipelines, hook-up lines, re-routing lines and modification on piping’s for well manifolds, gas dehydration units, and piping’s from oil and gas wells.
