Personal Statement
I am a self motivated, focused and confident Optical Assistant with 5 years experience within the optical field, starting out as an apprentice and working my way up to the management side, achieving around almost up to 3 years worth of experience plus a background in management . They say fulfilling your ambitions or dreams is not easy but the experience behind it is what makes it difficult for someone to say no. I would love to be part of your amazing team and take on the responsibility to be an optical manager . I have learnt a lot over the past few years and worked very hard with my previous companies, and I believe I can do even better working with your team to make a better future for myself but also help your company achieve a lot more. And I’ve also achieved a year of optometry. Working as a team and inflicting and influencing others in different ways is my strongest high, as not everyone learns the same way but I am able to adapt to everyone’s habitat and be able to get what we need.
I have excellent communication skills, along with the strong people skills needed to interact with patients, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. My hard work is always appreciated for my excellent standard and quality of work which I am able to prepare. Vision Express, Nottingham
Apprentice Graduation Scheme – Optical Assistant
I completed an apprenticeship Optical Assistant scheme here with Vision Express which I graduated from and achieved my 3 distinctions. This apprenticeship helped me gain full access to gaining full in-depth knowledge of what an optical assistant does and is required and honestly it put me on my feet to feel confident to start as I knew absolutely everything.
As an apprentice I had experience of working with customers at the front and also working with contact lenses, teaches, dispensing and health checks, I know how the GDPR and British values work with the companies and the customers also how the GOC works and can be affected within the company and how customer satisfaction and equality plays a main part.
